Pulling into South Haven Family RV Park
The front office
Looking down from our site as we pulled into it.
And now in our site.
She's wanting to help her Dad with some cleaning outside - yeah,...
We were up early and heading out of the Little River Casino Resort and RV Park by 8:00 a.m. so we could arrive in South Haven to allow enough time for us to get set up and be fully operational for the football games today. With only 154 miles to drive, not a problem.
The rains held off until we left the RV Park, and I mean that literally. As soon as we made the right hand turn out of the park, the rains began and still haven't let up. They have gone from light sprinkles to wind-shield wipers on high heavy. The rear view camera was totally under rain and of course that made it a bit more dicey for Jerry to see when passing any vehicles, but obviously we fared well.
We did see that gasoline prices here are really reduced from what we have been seeing - $3.45/gallon of regular and diesel was as low as $3.74. Haven't seen either of those prices in quite some time.
Our GPS brought us here before getting into the town, so we still have yet to see any of South Haven, but from the forecast, it appears we'll be seeing it the entire week through rain drops and wind shield wipers. The RV park is actually very nice, not very crowded, we we have a nice site with no one next to us on either side. Football's on and life is GREAT!
