| Oh what a roller coaster adventure this year has been for me!! I started 2011 in San Francisco, living with someone and comfortable in my job, yet through crazy twists and turns that life likes to throw your way I ended up back in Oregon, living at my cousins (again), working at my old job (again) and trying to figure out what my next step would be. I thought maybe Bend, maybe Utah, maybe even Portland. But no, I've opted for the unplanned, crazy out of my mind decision to travel the world for an undetermined amount of time. What am I thinking? Mid-life crisis? Maybe, but I'm only 30 so lets hope not! Fulfilling a life long dream to take a year and travel around the world? I think I'll go with that option! I've always loved to travel and am currently without furniture, rent payments and a 'real' job, but I do have all the time in the world and found someone who has the same dream. So here we go, tickets need to be bought, shots and visas figured out, hostels, transportation, excursions booked and packing, repacking and packing again. This journal's a way to keep in touch with everyone back home and fill them in on all my adventures. Please email me with comments, suggestions on places to stay, see, eat or just let me know what you've been up to. I'll try to keep this updated as often as I can and let everyone (mostly my concerned parents) know where I'm planning to head to next in case you get inspired by my travels and book a ticket to come join me in exploring the world.
