Sorry I'm behind on my entries. No internet in Bingen so I am catching up. Internet withdrawal! Anyway, we took the train from France back to Germany (with a transfer in Offenberg) to the town of Bingen. We were picked up by Helga and Ultz (sp?) Grosse. Thez are the parents of Karston, who is the husband of Christiana, who is the daughter of Christel. Got all that??? Very very nice and accomodating. They gave me a cake made of candies and had a champagne toast after dinner, very sweet! It was nice to relax for one night. Stayed at a Pension, which is like our version of a Bed & Breakfast, nice.
