| About to get on bus to Talampaya, will try to catch a bus back to La Rioja tonight and then at midnight bus from La Rioja to Cordoba. Well, when we were aproaching the Talampaya, there was very little trafic on the road so I realized that I may not get a lift from the road to the visitor center and I may end up walking with my large backpack 14km and get stuck in the middle of nowhere overnight. Going to the village 29 km further sounded as a better idea. When I got there, nobody wanted to take me at 4pm to Talampaya, because it was supposedly too late. So I stayed in a house where they were renting out a room. It turned out that the guy is one of the park rangers and was going to take me to the park in the morning. He brought a young girl who spke a bit English to explain to me the different excursions in the park. |
