Cheers, where everybody knows your name.

Hi There,

Well today was another great day in the city of Boston. This place is great, it is so much like Melbourne and just a really good place to walk around, we all agree if we had to live in the US, this would be the place.

Our day began with a cab ride through the crazy Boston streets to Faniual Hall and Quincey Market, where we strolled around for a few minutes before stopping in the Cheers bar fro a drink and a bite to eat. This location is not the original building you see on the opening credits, that is elsewhere in the city, this location is basically just the inside of the bar as we seen it on our tv screen, but the food was good and the beer not good according to our experts, but they still drank it, which I must give them credit for.

Next stop was the TD Garden for a little souvenier shopping before we rode the tram to the Prudential Centre for our Duck Tour. This tour is great fun, it takes place on a WWII amphibious duc and is part history and part fun as it takes you all over the city to see the main historical places and then drives straight into the Charles River for a tour around Cambridge and the Back Bay area of Boston, well worth it for anyone who visits the city, but I am not sure about the quackking bit.

Next we caught the train back to Fenway so the boys could purchase the 2 items in the store that they had not bought yesterday and we stopped in at a great sports bar to eat and watch mighty Manchester United play some team who's name I can't pronounce and who players all looked like Ricky Martin, but we drew which pissed Andy off and made me feel warm and fuzzy.

Finally we spent 25 m inutes strolling through the streets of Boston as we made our way back to our motel and ended two thoroughly enjoyable days in a great city.

Cheers,

Chris
