| Awake 7:00 Sun is showing through the trees and it is quiet and peaceful. Jim has coffee made so I having a cup and getting ready to fix breakfast. Have not done that for a while. It has been cereal for Jim and PB&J on the road for me. Jim took Billy out. I did not get to say last night (I don't think) that the neighbors came over and warned me there was a large skunk outside their RV so to watch it when I take Billy out. I could just imagine him getting sprayed and then the whole 5er stinking forever, so I did not take him out. Poor guy did not ask either, so I am sure he was really happy this morning. Oh Wow, I am having an 'optical migraine' right now. Not anything to worry about as a I have asked my doctors, but it starts out as a small little Amoeba type thing with shiny and black edges in your field of vision and then gets bigger and bigger. You can still see but it is quite distracting. I can't tell if it is one eye or both or just my goofy brain having a melt down. The eye doctor said they know about them, but do not know why, how, or any of the other particulars but that they are nothing to worry about and there is nothing you can do for them. It has now taken over the computer screen so it should be going away soon. If you close your eyes it is very shiny and it pulsates. If I were on anything I would say it was a 'trip'! Well the bacon is thawed in the micro so I am going to get that started and since I have NOT been a good house mother and the dishes are in the sink, I have no plates, so . . . I must work now. Bummer. Back soon. Bacon and eggs and toast for breakfast. Yummy. Have not had that for quite a while. Jim went to the shower, I am finishing the dishes and waiting for the OM to go away. Just the last of it where it is hard to focus. I will be so glad to get home and use my washer. I hate laundromats. I am going to have so much cleaning to do, OMG BUT one thing, is you take everything out - wash things in the house where you have more room, clean out the cupboards, etc with real tools and then put back what you want to leave in it. THEN you get to clean your home that you have not been in and this giant mess you have made inside. BUT you can take a great shower, sleep in your own bed, take naps, etc while you are working. I am going to get the shower stuff ready and go get clean and put on the close to last of my clean clothes. The laundry bag is getting very full. Jim and I had a nice time today in Sedona. Went to several Garage Sales! Got a few cool things. A great little wooden Amish piece that is supposed to be part of barn door lock. It is kind of arched and will look great with a small quilt hanging from it. $1; Then I got a bag of decorative botanicals - seeds, etc (large bag) $2; and some other little things. Got to go to the Quilt shop here in Sedona. Got some great little patterns and some Rayon Batik in Periwinkle color. Will look great with the jacket pattern I bought. Then we came back and Jim took a nap, we did some other things. Then I made a new friend with the woman next door. She was sitting at her table painting with watercolors. I had to go and talk. Her and I got along great. In fact we got along so great I did not start dinner until 8pm. WAY too late. But that is over now and Jim is about ready to go to bed. I GET TO CLEAN UP and start packing things so we can get them out of the RV when we get home. We have decided that we will not be bringing the RV straight home. We are going to take it to the storage yard, and only bring home necessities tomorrow (depending what time we get in) and then just take the Explorer and the truck back and unload that way. Will bring it home later when it gets cooler to do all the inside work. Easier that way. However, we have so much stuff it is going to take forever. Hope I don't forget anything important. I may or may not get to send something tomorrow. I will try and let you know how the last day went. I will miss meeting new people. But I will be very glad to be home. I hope I don't become a turtle. Meaning pull my head in and stay still for awhile. But you never know! OK, I have work to do so I will be signing off. It is 9 and I have a lot of things to do. Bonita |
