Another day in paradise, but geez, it's hot and humid. My 3 friends decided to go on a snorkeling excursion, but the sea looked too choppy for me and I wanted to lie low and read my book.

I'm attaching more photos. The food has been delicious at the various places. We have breakfast included in the hotel, but small cafes off-site have much cheaper prices and are usually run by a small family so we like to give them our business.

Bali is primarily Hindu and there are lots of statues and offerings everywhere. The people are gracious and friendly and always willing to help you find what you are looking for - today we needed to find an ATM.

Thanks to all of you who have sent notes about how much you are enjoying the Trip Journal and photos. I love to hear from each of you and to hear what's happening in your life on the other side of the world.

Tomorrow is our transition day - a long drive up to the northern part of the island. I hope I can find Internet access there, but if not, I will write again in a week when we move to a larger town (Ubud) for our last week.
