| 3 days based in Staines with Kevin. On the Thursday I had a day trip into central London in Glorios sunshine and temperatures that gave Bangkok a run for their money. I visited but still didn't go on the London Eye, had a walk down the South Bank and a quick visit to the Tate Modern then over the Millenium Bridge to St Pauls. I hunted in vain for the new Lonely Planet China on Charring Cross Road. On Fiday I finally got the much sought after book in Staines and treated myself to a new pair of jeans. In the evening we had a very bizarre (sorry Kev) visit to the local ex-service mens club for a Northern Soul evening. |
