Been there, liked some of the t-shirts but didnt buy any
We have a thing for toucans, this one was curious of us...
Walking across the path, didnt like being touched though.

| Today we took a trip from our hostel (again camping in tents and again quite a nice one) to take a look at these impressive waterfalls. After paying the exuberant entrance fee we went down the winding path to the many lookout stations and got exactly what we were expecting. A wonderful view of the falls covered in tourists. I guess these attractions lose a bit of majesty with the way people are funneled and fed into it, but even still the devils throat was impressive, as well as getting us completely soaked, opting out of any protection. Afterwards we went for a wander down one of the additional paths, not taking any safari looking craft (long tractor pulled chair platforms) and came across some more wild life, mostly in the form of butterflies and mosquitoes. Got some good piccys though. Tomorrow we plan to visit it again but from the Argentina side, which has a lot more to offer apparently, as well as more camp sites. Keep it cheap. |
