We travelled to Hope, PA, today looking for a great camping "resort".

The trip was uneventful. We stopped for lunch at a Cracker Barrel and discovered a huge RV dealer. John walked over to ask them if they could fix our step. They said if they could fix it in about an hour if they had the part. They were very nice, but unfortunately, they didn't have the part. The repair man did find the model number on our step so we have that now.

The roads from I80 to our campground were very narrow and had lots of overhanging tree branches which scraped against Arvy. We had to make four turns until we had travelled about 10 miles. We were very disappointed in the campground. The campsites were all grass (no gravel or concrete patios) and it had been raining. The ground was squishy and muddy.

I had to do laundry and was pleased to find six washers and dryers until I discovered that one washer was out of order and two had someone's laundry damp in them. The laundry looked like it had been there for more than an hour or two. I didn't even want to touch it to take it out of the washer. The dryers were awful. John and I think that the vents have been stopped up. The clothes never got completely dry. I had to drape the sheets over the washers to let them dry while I tried to dry the clothes. I spent over 20 dollars on those machines.

Sounds like I'm whining...we did not like that campground.

We got set up and had a good supper. We were fortunate to find satellite tv because there was no cable tv available.

Tomorrow will be better.
