Pearse Tucker and his cod

MIke and Pearse

We drove out to Raeigh, Ship Cove and Burnt Cape Botanical reserve. Biurnt Cape is a very barren landscape what does support many different fauna and flora in a very calcium right environment. We then saw a traditional fishing village. In Ship cove we saw some very majestic landscapes and as we were leaving we saw this women in the middle of the road taking some pictures of the front yard of this home when we looked to our right here was this bull moose in the front yard. In the pictures the moose's head is amongst the flowers. A little further down the road we met Pearse Tucker, who was drying cod along the side of the road. He was was very proud to show us the antler from the moose he killed last year, a 500 yard shot. One shot in the neck. it dressed out (butchered) at 750 lbs.
