Nature Takes Its Course

Day 29

Glacier Park has 700 miles of trails. Many are very long and arduous. We took some of the shorter trails to waterfalls that are easily accessible. The trails are steep in places, but somewhat level once we got down in the river basin. We are on constant look out for bears and called out and made noise to scare them off the path before we got there. Pictures show the falls we saw and some of the sites along the way.

Trivia: There are about 300 grizzlies and 700 black bears in Glacier. This is feeding time and they love the berries which grow everywhere including along the paths.
