|Left Hardin about 7:30am and drove 435 miles to Wall, SD. We are camped at the "Sleepy Hollow" campground 1.5 blocks from Wall Drug! The scenery was the same as the trip out here so we didn't take many pictures along the way. We did, however, pull in to Sturgis for some gas and found the stations were filled with bikers, trying to stay under cover because of a sudden rain storm. They were very good about it and moved out of the way so we could get gas and be on our way. We didn't realize until then that this was the last day of the Sturgis bike rally and most were getting ready to start their trip home. Lots and lots of bikers! Once in camp, we did take a walk over to the Wall drug area, found a nice little tavern and we both had a really good Bloody Mary while watching the end of the PGA tournament. Thus fortified, we decided to have some food, and found a nice cafe across from Wall Drug without all the noise and activity. Walked back to camp after and had lots of over the air TV to choose from. We plan on making it to somewhere in Minnesota tomorrow, which will put us in "striking" distance of home.
