| Still at Deer Lodge Montana. Tomorrow we leave for Bousma MT. Yesterday we went to a Sapphire Mine in Phillipsburg MT and purchased a bucket to sift through for Sapphires. Needless to say, we did find some but nothing of tremendous size. Today, John and I, toured several museums in Deer Lodge. A vintage car museum, prison museum, toy museum and a frontier museum. There were a couple of old trucks that were pretty sweet. They would be nice for cruisin' on Saturday Night. I think Hugh, John and I are healed enough to start hiking again once we reach Yellowstone. (Still waiting for my toenail to fall off but I think I can get my hiking boot on (there is, hopefully, plenty of room in the toe). Missing home and family and friends - - But having a great time. |
