August 10, 2011 camped over Glacier National Park
Woke up this morning around 7:30 a.m. and it was 49 degrees outside, and it got up to the middle 70’s, JUST PERFECT, we went white water rafting down the Flathead River in Glacier National Park, I was hesitate as this scares me, however it was only class 2 & 3 so the rapids were not bad, but I still got wet, towards the end they let you jump over if you want so Buddy of course did with some other kids on the boat, the water was about 55 degrees the guide said, it is melted snow so make since. We took a short bike ride into Apgar Village, and as you are riding through the bike path you can just smell the pines or evergreen trees not sure which they are, we got some Huckleberry Ice Cream, some guy was out on the lawn with a telescope and we got to look at the sun, back to the RV for some steak on the grill, steamed cabbage, beets and some fresh green beans.
