| Wed. Aug. 10 We’re ready to head out again leaving behind family and a few old friends. Kind of sad to leave town before Hal, Shawn & Jackson get moved into their new home here in Brighton. My girls have all grown up and have their families of their own and not much time for us anymore. We did have an opportunity to get to see some of them for a bit. Granddaughter Jacquelyn stopped by with her two little girls Chloe & Leah for an evening. We met Dee, Randy, Dawn, Ed, Cody, Alisha, Jacquelyn, Hal & Shawn for a good time with an evening in East Lansing. We’re off again for another adventure. Heading west to look for ole friends and make some new ones. We’ve arrived here in Elkhart IN the first day having some work done on the leveling system and picking up a new couch. (We need to have comfortable sleeping accommodations’ for our visiting friends.) We have an appointment in the morning with the repair shop and also a 9:10AM Golf tee time. We’re hooking up with the McCeary’s & Miller’s here in Elkhart tomorrow for golf food and some fun. Hope to be out’a here around noon on Fri. I’ll keep ya posted. |
