3 Schoener boys and a lady: Travel Edition travel blog

Cody

We had the amazing opportunity to attend Sara Kennedy and Brad Lamb's wedding on Mt. Rose, NV. It was an adventure that will never be forgotten. The minute we got to the wedding location on the top of Mt. Rose we stopped to take a couple pictures to remember the adventure we were beginning. Throughout the weekend we had a blast with some of our best friends: Amanda Edwards, Kevin Coleman, Hugh Benhardt, and Amber Scott! On Friday when we arrived we quickly got our rental car and began the drive to Mt. Rose from Reno airport where the wedding rehearsal was going to take place. After the beautiful wedding rehearsal we head over to North Star, CA for the rehearsal dinner. After the rehearsal dinner we all head back to the condo that Sara and Brad rented for us (too sweet). The condo was great and it was so much fun to just stay with friends. Later on we headed over to Sara's parents rental house where we had the Lingerie shower for Sara. It was a blast and we named each outfit for Brad to pick out... (I wonder how this went). When Amanda and I returned home from the shower I will never forget seeing that creepy guy on the side of the road (LOL), how Amber and Hugh got there once Amanda and Kevin were asleep and how difficult the parking situation was proving that night... The next morning Amanda, Kevin, Cody and myself headed to a local bar (yes very A-typical) where we had the best breakfast for 3.99 a plate! Later that morning the girls all headed to Sara's parents house to get our hair done and the boys headed out for a mountain biking adventure! The wedding was at 2PM on Saturday July 30th and there was barely a dry eye during the ceremony (we were the weeping bridesmaids... LOL)! Cody and I left early the morning of the 31st so that Cody could head to Washington, DC for a conference and so that I could get home to get the boys from my parents in San Antonio!
