| We headed out early this morning to catch up on some lost time and travelled through 3 states – Georgia, Alabama and finally arrived lunchtime into Tennessee and the Tim’s Ford State Park. Darren has become quite the pro at driving this huge beast of a motor-home up and down mountainous roads and round some pretty tight spots! Tim’s Ford State Park is a combination of large lakes and some beautiful wooded forests. We were disappointed we were not able to see or park near the lake, but were able to follow a trail down to the lake and came across an old iron foot-bridge. Nala wasn’t too sure about crossing the bridge and slunk down on her belly all the way across (I presume so she wouldn’t fall quite so far – bless!) |
