|On Tuesday morning we departed Stewart for points south. We ended up eating lunch at a neat little cafe in Kitwanga, BC. It's at the very south end of the Cassiar highway where it joins the Yellowhead Highway between Prince George and Prince Rupert. We had the best, and cheapest, restaurant meal we'd had in a long time. The young lady there made her own pies from local fruits. I had the berry pie (blueberry and blackberry), and Mary Jo had the apple. They were both great. On the way out of town we stopped to photograph a group of totem poles.
