We’re off at 6:45AM. 67 degrees. We stop at Hardee’s for breakfast. We note that many hills were blasted to make Kentucky roads. It is green and hilly. At 9:00AM, it is 80 degrees. At 9:45AM, we realize that we’ve lost another hour so we move our watches up to 10:45AM. At 11:30AM, the hills are bigger and we see some mountains. We see lots of yard sales. We travel down 25E and see lots of small towns. At 12:00, we travel through a tunnel and come out in TN. We pass through Bean Station, a town. At 2:30PM, we’re in VA. At 4:30PM, we are back in Stokes County, NC!! We’re back home by 6:00PM. What an adventure we’ve had! We thank God for a safe and beautiful trip. We can’t wait to see our family again. We want to thank all of the folks along the way who touched our lives in some manner. Each of you made our trip special-a trip we’ll never forget.
