Today was half touring and half driving back towards home. we left Pensacola in the morning and drove to Mobile Alabama. We toured the U.S.S. Alabama battleship and went on the WWII sub that was displayed there. We drove through a torrential downpour in Alabama after we left the memorial but it let up as we entered Mississippi. We went swimming in the ocean in Biloxi but it started to rain so we headed out. We made it as far as Baton Rouge. We are driving to San Antonio in the morning. It's about 550 miles so we won t be making any stops except to gas up. In one way it's nice to be out of Florida as the gas cost more there than in California. It's sad that our vacation is winding down but We are also looking foreward to being home. See you soon!
