Travels With Billy travel blog

I sure crashed last night. Sitting here watching tv and could not keep my eyes open. I don't think I was awake more than a few minutes after my head hit the pillow. Up at 7:30 so that was 9 hours. Guess I was tired.

I am sitting here looking at my dirty kitchen (again) and knowing I have to get up and clean it, but come on, I am supposed to be on vacation. Bummer on cleaning! I want to play with the toys I brought. Applique and paints. Jim will be busy this weekend with some racing friends so then I will get to work on my projects.

Last night we asked our neighbor where to get some good fish. He told us to go east, then across the river to Washington and find some Indians that sell fresh fish by the side of the road. Guess where we are going today. Might be having Salmon for dinner tonight. Supposed to be very fresh and inexpensive.

Jim is off getting his tires rotated. Sounds kind of kinky! Billy has had breakfast and is lounging on the sofa. I really need to get busy as I really made a mess last night. Maybe that is why I am so reluctant to get started.

Outside temperature is 63 - inside 66. Feels nice. OK, off to work. Later people.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It is now 10:00; I have cleaned the kitchen; eaten breakfast and gotten dressed. MAJOR accomplishments for me this morning. I just want to curl up and relax today. I would like to take Billy for a walk around the park, sit under the tree out front and have a quiet day. BUT that is not in the cards. I am sure I will enjoy the ride to get the fish. Looking forward to some wonderful salmon. As I said, we had Tilapia for dinner. We were given that fish in Kingman, AZ, our first night out by a site neighbor that did not have a freezer and did not want to cook it. As far as Tilapia is concerned, I don't really care for it. I find it a bland, boring fish. It will be really nice to have a fish with flavor.

I need to pick up the RV today. Things are starting to get strewn around and making it feel cramped. I will feel better when that is done. In fact, I think I will do that now, before Jim gets back.

OK most of it picked up.

Bed made, etc.

We are one the way out the door to go find fish.

Will send more later.
