| Sunday, 31 July - end of another brilliant week! Its so hard sleeping in! probably cause Sydney is 2 hrs ahead of us here and Im still on Sydney time...hence up at 6am and washing done and on the line by 6:30am! As the world apparently was still asleep I took myself off to Broome beach for a photo shoot..such a magic time of the day...especially watching the as the beach awoke to nippers and beach chairs and umbrellas... Back to the RV where I picked up Bru and after a bit of cleaning...down to the beach again...A relaxing day was had catching up on emails and sorting thru my millions of photos... Tonight we went to Broome beach to watch the amazing sunset with the camels again..one last time ....as we start our return journey home tomorrow...with first stop being Ellendale Free Camp...by the side of a lake... Lyn & Garry are coming with us for the first few days...should be fun... Saturday, 30 July We hit the Broome Markets today with Lyn & Gary...small markets but nice! Afterwards visiting the local lighthouse and beaches, followed by lunch at the pub...A few weeee drinkies (hic, hic) were then had at the RV....Arrrr another perfect day in a perfect location...U gota love Broome! Friday, 29 July Another glorious day in Broome...visiting shopping centre, town sites, Broome pier and a lazyBroome avo on Cable Beach...arrrr life is good! Thursday 28 July - weather...oh could it be anything else but perfect! After a late start...went sightseeing in Broome..followed by grocery shopping and a visit to Broome Beach..yes..this time we got to go in... Cant believe the amount of 4wd cars on the beach...they seem to be everywhere up here. Met up with Garry & Lyn (from Cape Laveque holiday) for dinner at the local Chinese and a fun night was had reminiscing over the last 2 days... Good night was had...but its off to bed for a REAL sleep.... |
