Another day of fishing.

I kept six, Mike kept three.

Mineral Creek flows out of this long canyon.

Fed by many small streams from each side of the canyon.

Most of them have several falls each.

Fireweed and Salmonberry are in abundance.

Glaciers and snow packs feed - - -

- - - the many waterfalls.

Six salmon is the daily limit. We caught many more than we kept.

After lunch Linda & I drove into town to find Mineral Creek Canyon Road. Exploring dirt roads in a Jeep is my most favorite thing to do in a vehicle. Doing it in our truck is my second favorite. Linda is not so hot on off road "Jeeping", as you may remember from last year. But she was glad we did this little exploration adventure. I had to convince her to let me take the truck through a creek to continue back into the canyon and she was glad we did, after the fact.

We had salmon for dinner; it was delicious.
