|With our stay coming to a end. We will be leaving tomorrow. I just sort of looked around and saw what we have accomplished while being here. Things that I have wanted to do for awhile.
We finally found the new faucets for the bathroom and kitchen, we also found the faucet for the shower....all are installed and I have to say they are great!
My next projects were the removal of the overhead TV and the Lazyboy chair. I did find out one thing. Life is so much easier when you have the correct tools. I had pain in muscles that I was unaware that I had.
I now moved outdoors and worked on the generator. Oil change, fuel filter and air filter and then I found out this lovely machine takes 2 spark plugs! They are done!! I even surprised myself.
I then cleaned the slide rails, hydraulic lifts and the tow bar. My hands look like death, I should have been wearing gloves.
Mom and I had purchased new laminate flooring last year but getting the carpet out had not happen.......you guessed it. Little by little we removed the carpet. Laminate is not done yet. Soon though.
The crack in our battey box had gotten to the point that we had to do something about it. After much thought, I decided I could not do this project. I found Doug at Superior Fiberglass who did the whole job in 6 hours.
Mom has been given the ok to travel. We are going to take it slow, spend a week in Colorado Springs and see how she feels. Baby steps for her, but she is so anxious. She tells me that she didn't want to fulltime sitting in the same place. I understand.....baby steps.
Until next time.........
