In the Footsteps of Crocodile Dundee travel blog

Had a yum breakfast at a small coffee bar before making our way to the Pro Hart Gallery. GHe was a well known bush artist who passed away in 2006. He started out as a miner in Broken Hill but his love of the bush and painting it and mine life soon saw him become well known and well respected in Australia. Maureen dabbles in painting and wanted to see his works and I also like a number of his paintings, the ones depicting everyday bush life.

Spent about 3/4 hour there before the guys dropped us off at the shopping centre to see if I could sort out the camera problem while they went to have a look at a mining memorial. Thought I had the problem solved when I purchased a card reader but to no avail as my computer doesn't recognise it and I cannot find free driver download. C'est la vie!

bought some rolls for lunch on the road and soon we were making our way out of Broken Hill onto the open road heading towards Wilcannia, Cobar, Nyngan and finally Dubbo. Well after dark when we arrived after over 7 hours of driving. Spending the night relaxing at the motel and an early night.

Tomorrow we will be having a bit of a look around Dubbo before heading to Bathurst and finally Katoomba. Our trip is winding down unfortunately but hopefully we can have some more holiday fun tomorrow.

Short and sweet tonight.

Goodnight All.
