| July 25, 2011 travel day, we traveled 279 miles We left out of Saginaw, Minnesota on Hwy 53 to Hwy 11, roads for the most part were rough, we stopped at a rest area/welcome center in MN and they had a Bog Boardwalk which was only ½ mile long and went to a lake and through the woods so it was shady and a nice walk. We had McDonalds for lunch and Dairy Queen for supper, not a healthy eating day, no cooking for me today. We ended up camping at AmericInn which is a hotel that has a campground behind the hotel. We paid $3.97 for diesel today, and weather was sunny and got up to 77 degrees. |
