|Cody is a great place to come for a vacation. There is so much to see and do. We took a trolley tour of the city, visited The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, the Buffalo Bill Dam, and attended the Cody Nite Rodeo. By 1900 Buffalo Bill Cody was the most well-known man in the world. He used his influence and money to help provide the things the city needed to survive including water, lodging, transportation, a newspaper, and visitor traffic so they named everything after him. Cody is about 50 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone and we took several scenic drives around here. We continue to be amazed by the beauty of the area. Last night we had prime rib dinner at the Irma Hotel which was built in 1902. We went to a Cowboy Music reviewing featuring Dan Miller and it was fun and great music.
