| .This morning we had french toast for breakfast. Every day they have something different for breakfast plus fruit. Mom and dad went for a walk at 6am this morning and then I met them for breakfast. Our waiters are Albert, Zeby, Jessica, and Carolina. They make sure we have everything we need. Jessica told us about a restaurant in Flowers Bay called Grandma's Kitchen. They serve island food there like fish and all types of local food.We are going to go there maybe tomorrow night. Tonight we are going to Foster's restaurant down the beach. Every thursday night they have lobster night. You have a 2 lobster tail dinner for $11.99. Today was a cruise ship day. Lots of people come from the ship to see the island. They go on tours to the beaches, to the ziplines, or have an island tour. Some of them go golfing at Pristine Bay. There are more people on the beach but they are all gone by 2pm back to the ship. My dad rented a 4x4 truck for a week today. Now we can go all over the island whenever we want. It costs about $10 to go to West End each wayby taxi. That's where all the restaurants are and they are not as expensive as the ones on West Bay. Plus there is a lot more of them. We are going to go to Camp Bay maybe on Sunday. That is way down at the other end of the island and is kind of deserted except for a resort and a couple of restaurants. We will take my aunt and uncle with us. They are coming tomorrow on the first ferry. Tomorrow on the second ferry my cousin from Argentina is also coming to visit us for 2 days. My mom and dad have a couple of men cleaning the lot of the grass and palm leaves that have fallen down. They put everything in a big truck and took it to the dump. It looks really clean now. I think they will finish tomorrow. My mom and dad met Ron and Myra today. They are from the United States and live in the house across the sand from the lot. My mom met Ron last year and they talked for a while. We went swimming today and I snorkeled too. My dad bought an underwater video camera. It is only 2 inches by 2 inches so it can go on my scuba tanks. I'm going to take it with us when we go to the extreme zipline. It fits on your helmet. The extreme zipline is almost 400 feet in the air and one of the lines is over 2,000 feet long. We'll probably go next week, my dad is still sunburned. |
