| I had a great visit here in MN with my friends Dory and Sandy. I know those ladies from Viewpoint Resort in Mesa AZ, where we all spend our winters. Minnesota is beautiful but we did have some awful hot and humid weather as did other parts of the country. Detroit Lakes is a nice little town until the population swells on the week-ends. A lot of Fargo folks come here for their week-end get away. It's surprising how many own homes or park models here since Fargo is only about a 50 minute drive. We parked at Forest Hills which is a nice place except that they don't have cable hook-up and WiFi. We have a dish and I have an air card for my Internet so it wasn't that big of deal but it is nice to be able to hook up to the parks services too. |
