Sort of an uneventful ride across the flat lands of Manitoba. A bit of a late start in the morning as we were on finished our cooking duties and loaded the truck before leaving.
A nice camp ground in Minnedose down by the dam. The nice part of the evening was the an old friend from my Elanco day’s, Clarence Skwaluk, son Brook and his father-in-law Leonard stopped by. Clarence was kind enough to pick up a tub of E-load for us as we have been hard on the electrolytes because of the hot weather. Great visit and they toured the campsite and our facilities.
When we left Guelph Greg Hawkins gave me a couple of bottles of his own brand of honey. The entire tour group enjoyed it. Thanks Greg!
