Storm Clouds over Jurien Bay

Storm Clouds over Jurien Bay

20th July. This morning we woke to lovely sunny weather, we left Geraldton and headed to Jurien Bay arriving at 11.30am.

Shortly after arriving my cousin Sue phone to say that her dad Les had sadly passed away. A true gentleman, much loved and sadly missed.

We decided to take a short drive around Jurien Bay, it certainly has gone ahead over the last couple of years, there are many new flash homes and accommodation units recently built. There is a lovely grassed foreshore, with seating, shade and barbecues, where once there was just unkept sand dunes.

It looks like the weather has changed abruptly and we are in for a storm, the sky is almost black with rain clouds.
