We moved from the Army Post to the Golden Nugget RV Park in Anchorage, so we could at least have bus transportation downtown. Ate lunch at the RV park, then caught a bus downtown. We toured the Anchorage Museum, all 4 floors. It has a lot of paintings and murals, besides displays of Alaskan native cultures. It also had a mammoth display from the Chicago Fields Museum we toured. It was a pretty interesting afternoon. We left there and hopped a bus to the Glacier Brewing Company, where we had their beers and a good dinner. I had a Reindeer sausage and blue cheese pizza, Val had a Cajun fettuccine gumbo and the old woman had a blackened chicken sandwich, so much for having the local cuisine. We grabbed a taxi back to the RV park and listened to a local singer/guitarist perform, and had a few Alaskan beers. Correction, it was not a local artist, he is from Ashville, North Carolina and his name is Paul Cataldo. He was a good singer and an excellent acoustic guitar player.
