St. Peter's Square
| The entire day was spent taking in all the sites at the Vatican museum and St. Peter’s. We were with a small group of ten and had a guide who is a schooled archaeologist. Such an education we had today, too much to possibly absorb. Although Dan and I had been here before, very little of what we saw today was like our previous experience, different hallways bring different collections. The antiquities are so massive I’m sure you could walk it for days and not see it all. The Sistine Chapel and Basilica of course were amazing and Jacquelyn’s astonishment alone was worth the trip. A great day. |
