Today Glenna and I enjoyed a casual drive into Canada. We drove on two lane roads the entire day, enjoying small town USA. We travelled up the east side of Lake Champlain, and around the top of the lake and into New York State. Once into New York we started to see more farms, and their crops appear to be as delayed as ours in Ontario. We drove along the south side of the St. Lawrence River until Ogdensburg before crossing into Canada.
We decided to stop early and enjoy our final day. Tonight we are camped at the KOA at Ivy Lea, just east of Gananoque. It is a nice park and very kid friendly. They have two pools and a hot tub. We enjoyed a nice swim and a soak in the hot tub. We bought some firewood and look forward to a campfire tonight before returning to work tomorrow.
