| We landed in Rome and went immediately to the train station. The train travel was so clean and comfortable. We took in the beautiful landscape as we whisked through parts of Tuscany. After checking in to the hotel and settling a bit we headed out for dinner. I had forgotten how challenging it is to get around. Being one of little to no sense of direction doesn’t help. We took in a few sites but mostly just looked forward to the site of the inside of our eyelids. Travel has been easy, no complaints, it’s just been a very long day. |
