Bull Summer Trip 2011 travel blog

Today is the last day of the Rally. The indoor vendors will close at 2 pm, the outdoor exhibits at 5 pm.

Today was Good Sam's Day and as many Good Sam's chapter as wanted to participate made food that was representative of their home state or area. People tasted the dishes and then voted on what they thought was best. 3rd place went to Idaho Elk meatballs with cherry sauce. Second place was awarded to Oklahoma Corn Chowder. The first place prize went to Utah's Lime Jello Mousse. Bob tasted all the food and would have given the corn chowder first place and the jello mousse 2nd place.

Tonight's entertainment was an 11 piece band called The Highstreet Band from Boise, Idaho. They started off with music from the forties and went through each decade up to the present. They were wearing outlandish, brightly colored zoot suits. They came out into the audience, encouraged dancing in the aisles and even brought the kids in the audience onto the stage for the final number.
