| Today is our last day with our VW Polo so it's time to minimise our load. We stop off at a post office and send two boxes of goodies back to Australia......£159 later! We return our car back in Brighton and check in to Kipps Backpackers, a great hostel with very friendly staff who even did our laundry for £5 - bargain! Today is probably the hottest day we have had so we made the most of it putting on shortie shorts/board shorts and tank tops (the only clean clothes we had left!), and while the hostel was doing our laundry we where able to do some last minute sightseeing, shopping and take a walk along the pier. Back to the hostel where we sat at the 'reception desk, come bar, come breakfast bar' for 5hrs chatting to the hostel staff and other tourists. Back in our room we packed our bags with nice clean clothes (thank goodness for hostel washing machines as Leah had no clean knickers left and had worn the same pants and shirt 5 days straight.......her clothes got a wash every day when it rained so she wasn't that smelly!) Turned on my phone to hear a lovely drunken message from Liv & Rusty - we miss you guys to. xx |
