Bambi getting to know Sassy

We had a nice dinner for their last night.

As we mentioned before our jobs here at Likely Place Golf and RV are important to the success of the property and it makes us feel good to know we have an impact. Guests approach Rebecca at the office to either check-in their RV for a stay or they come to her for registering to golf. Either way they’re here to have a good time, she makes sure they leave her desk with a smile and a happy start. When Dave works in the RV park cutting grass or trimming trees he makes sure everyone he passes gets a friendly wave and a greeting. We feel blessed to have such wonderful management, they really know what they’re doing, many repeat guests are known by them. See some pictures of our working in the park.

We were so pleasantly surprised recently when our friends Warren & Betty Trost came to the park for a 2 week stay! They noticed one day that we weren’t too far apart at another RV park in the Sierra's and they were looking for a new place to check out and see some new country. A quick phone call by Betty to Rebecca, who happened to be at the office taking reservations, cinched the deal. They made the nearly 220 mile drive to come here, they said upon leaving they’re glad to have experienced all that Modoc county and Likely Place has to offer. We met the Trosts in 2008 when we stayed at TTN Texoma (north of Dallas, TX) and made friends right from the first meeting.
