Generic lobster dinner. It smelled much too good for me to stop...

The drive back to Marblehead was uneventful, except for making Jon crazy again because the maps, directions and actual streets bore little relation to one another.

Anne felt that the perfect accompaniment to our lobster dinner was a chilled bottle of Pinot Grigio, and promised us a special treat for dessert. We were temporarily stymied by her lack of lobster-cracking equipment, but Wandering Spirit leapt to the rescue. Out of her tool boxes emerged lineman's pliers, long nosed vise grips and a pair of side cutters. After a good wash, these were placed on the table, and we commenced to demolish the lobsters.

Dessert proved to be blueberry pie with vanilla bean ice cream. It was sooo good.

That evening, we got word that Tim and Jocelyn had made it home safely from South Africa. However, we were not able to talk with Tim, because he had gone straight to bed after his long journey.
