Today we drove the 164 mile from Salt Lake City, Utah to Pocatello, Idaho – both states that start with vowels - which made me wonder how the customer service rep from BOA would pronounce either or both of them?? I can only imagine 

Pocatello is the home of the Idaho State but more importantly, it’s the home of cousins Rich and Kari and their 3 fantastic kids, Lexi, Taylor and Richie. Rich met us at the RV park and we followed him back to his house, where they had poured a gazillion yards of concrete today. They’d added a two story addition to their house where the deck used to be since the last time we were here. The upper story is an open deck with ad outdoor kitchen and a sitting area with a fire pit. The lower level isn’t completely finished yet, but will be a game room when it’s done. The concrete had been pour all around the new addition.

We had a fantastic dinner and then went to see Richie play flag football. It was our first time seeing six year olds playing this kind of football – what a hoot! It was really fun to watch. It was the last game of the season and the kids got little gift bags and their team photos and Richie was really excited about the game.

Then we went back to the house and had a glass of wine and sat out on the new deck and talked until it was way pass the kids’ bedtime.
