The weather was questionable all day. Sun in and out from behind the heavy clouds. So we decided to stay close to camp. This campground is one of the better ones we have stayed. Lots of room, extremely clean bathrooms and showers. We are south of Portland and east of Salem. So after a leisurely breakfast we headed to the Oregon Gardens. It is an 80 acre park that has many different areas and types of trees and plants. There are themed gardens like Silverton Market Garden, A-Mazing Water Garden, Sensory Garden and the Lewis & Clark Garden. The Children's garden has a sand box and a tunnel for the kids to play and "weird plants" that are unusual. Some modern sculptures and a Fran Lloyd Wright building next door that we could see from the drive. After a nice leisurely stroll through the gardens we stopped in Silverton for lunch at El Toro Restaurant. It was the best Mexican food we have had in a long time! Back at the RV we are just relaxing.
