Greetings from the Seabourn Spirit!
We spent the day in Sibenik Croatia. Sibenik is a smaller town than neighboring cities like Split and Dubrovnik. The town is built very close together with one little street running into the next. Damn near got lost a couple of times, not all those streets go through…some dead end!
Today started out with a few hitches…I got the stomach flu and John has had to resort to chewing gum rather than tobacco…you see, there is no chewing tobacco in Croatia…at least we haven't been able to find it. John thinks it was a conspiracy and that this cruise is actually an intervention! Unless Italy has chewing tobacco, you might mark your calendar that June 29th is when John quit chewing! And please get down on your knees and pray for Lori!
John, Lori and Dar went on a tour of the National Park Krka and saw some beautiful waterfalls. I spent the time sleeping.
When they got back I rallied long enough to walk through Sibenik and get lost. We all took naps and then had a delightful dinner on the upper deck over looking the ocean.
All-in-all not a bad way to pass a day sick to your stomach (But I bet John wouldn't say the same with his tobacco intervention!)
We are on to the last stop tomorrow, Opatjia.
Love to you all,
