| Ross was on the phone at 0500 Pacific time to Red Bay and only got, "Leave a message and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible." The shop and plant open at 0700 Central time and the office opens at 0800 Central time. At 0800 Central Ross called Bob Tiffin and Tiffin answered the telephone. I told him that the fan they sent did not fit and that the replacement fan was 4 inches longer in diameter that the one that is installed in the motorhome and that the cowling is only 28 inches and a 31.5 inch fan simply will not fit. Mr. Tiffin was said he would contact the plant immediately and would get back to Ross within minutes. About 10 minutes later another employee called Ross and said that the fan manufacturer had been contacted and that a new fan would be produced today and shipped on Tuesday to arrive Wednesday morning. Ross was not pleased and his displeasure was very obvious but he was resigned to two more nights at Peterson Caterpillar. About an hour later Ross received another call from Tiffin and was told that the fan would be manufactured today and shipped today to arrive in Medford Tuesday morning. We shall wait and see. Considering all that has happened we are hopeful but also very skeptical. We will let you know, Ross Marge |
