Wow was all we could say when we got to this one!! I don't believe we've ever seen a tree whose lower branches were so huge it would take at least two men to reach around them... and that' the secondary lower branches... what a sight!
This was just down the road from our KOA park in Rochester. She mentioned the old cemetary to us so we walked down to check it out. Actually didn't even expect to find Civil War graves there let alone the Tree! ^_^
Great area to explore....!!
