Well, thank goodness, the last of the exams today. Only 22 students to get through, so it should not take so long. But, because the students left to do their exams are te less able ones, who seem to wait until the last minute to do their exam, and consequently it takes longer to get through the last lot!!

I got the bus into town, and headed for Spango Pizza to get dinner. I am trying very hard to eat healthily at the moment, and opted for their chicken soup, and for a plate of broccoli.

On the way down the street, I saw a young couple taking photos, and looked up at the trees, to see beautifully coloured seed pods on the trees. I was really glad that they were taking photos, because I would not have seen them, if not for the young folk.

Joe and Barbara saw me taking photos from their shop, and came out to ask if I was having a career change, from teacher, to botanist!! But, they had also not noticed these beautiful seed pods.

We had quite a chance to talk tonight, as things were not too busy yet. Joe and Barbara were telling me about a trip to Tibet that they are looking in to. I will check online when I get home, and see what I can discover. They were disappointed, but not so surprised to hear that I will be finishing up at the end of this term, and only coming back for a visit in October.

By the time I left, we had had a heavy shower of rain, but it was all over, by the time I headed out. I got a taxi home and settled in for a relaxing evening, with all the exams over, excepting for Julie, who is still in hospital. I will do her exam with her, at a time to suit her, before she leaves the hospital.
