| Well unfortunately Bonnaroo didn't happen for me. No tickets. Oh well...there's always next year... Instead I went canoeing Buffalo. I had the best time I've ever had there. We canoed 2 days and on the 3rd day we just floated the river and swam. We ate some great food and slept so great. The weather was perfect except for the huge wind storm that demolished our canopy. Everything went flying and I was running in all directions to scoop stuff up. It was an adventure to say the least. Right after we set up camp, I heard an animal screaming. I asked the guy who worked there what it was and he said bobcat. They're all along the river. I had no idea. We never saw one but I know it was close. We did see a raccoon and a huge opossum. Canoeing the river was great. It was so so beautiful. I did make a sacrifice to the river though...sunglasses, one flip flop, and my princess chair...we flipped. I haven't flipped in a canoe in ages and then we ran smack into a tree. Ha. |
