As usual we flew to Phoenix to pick up the RV from the storage lot. Richard had put what were purportedly solar battery chargers that he bought at the RV show in Quartzsite on the truck. They didn't work and the batteries were dead. Fortunately a man and his wife were working on their RV down the row and he had a battery charger with a booster and we got the truck started. Thank goodness for that man!
Then we took the rig to be washed, went grocery shopping and camped at Leaf Verde RV Park in Buckeye for the night.
We made it to Bakersfield the next night and finally on Thursday arrived at the Jazz Affair in Three Rivers, CA where we met Mike and Sally Theroux and Peter and Beverly King (a small group this year). It was raining and the field was a sea of mud. And it's cold.
