We are waiting at the ferry terminal to take the ferry across to the Isle of Skye. It is only a relatively short ferry, about 35 minutes from Mallaig across to the Isle of Skye. On the way we saw the Glenfinnan Viaduct. This is the beautiful bridge that the train to Hogworts passes over in all of the Harry Potter movies. We plan to drive across the island and then drive across the new bridge over to the mainland so that we can go to see the castle Eilan Dolan. The Isle of Skye looks so interesting, but we will not have time to see much of it this trip.
