So many delightful foods did we have in Stockholm the second time around, and with so many delightful people. We stayed with our friend, Lia and hung out with her and with Louice, both of who we met in Peru. At their homes, we had swedish meatballs and pea soup, blood pudding and lingonberry sauce, reindeer and herring, Swedish pancakes and a few sorts of traditional Swedish liquore, over which they sang us a toast in Swedish. We ate at a few all-you-can-eat buffets, including one at Pizza Hut, which is actually a fairly fancy eatery in Europe. We took walks around beauteous Stockholm and attended a neat little party set up on an island overlooking the bay, where we were treated to drinks, food, and some Swedish hospitality. Overall, brilliant.
